Julio’s journey is one of grit, reinvention, and community impact. Born in New York, he moved to Ecuador as a teenager, navigating reverse culture shock while gaining a well-rounded education from entrepreneurial parents. At 18, he returned to the U.S. alone, working odd jobs before finding his way into financial services. However, his path was not without obstacles. Struggling with a stutter, a manager once told Julio to quit because he wasn’t cut out for the business. Instead of giving in, he sharpened his skills, hired a coach, and turned his weakness into strength, soon becoming one of the top agents in his company. That early breakthrough gave Julio the confidence to take risks, push boundaries, and think like an entrepreneur.
By 2006, Julio opened his own insurance office, serving families and business owners with life, health, auto, and home coverage. Over the next decade, he grew it into a thriving practice before selling it in 2015. Along the way, he pursued his MBA, consulted, and became deeply active in his community, raising funds, serving in leadership roles, and hosting a Spanish-language radio show on retirement planning. Each step reflected his belief that financial guidance isn’t just about products; it’s about people, trust, and service. After stepping back to care for his wife through cancer treatment, Julio regained momentum in business and now stands focused on building generational legacies for his clients and serving his community through leadership.
Today, as the founder of Rocha Wealth, Julio brings together everything he has learned: the discipline of an entrepreneur, the resilience of someone who overcame early obstacles, and the perspective of a family man who stepped back when his wife needed him most. His mission is clear: to help others build resilient plans that endure life’s challenges, create lasting legacies, and empower the next generation. For Julio, wealth is more than numbers; it’s about security, freedom, and opportunity that endures.
